The $899 Offer
The introductory offer is available for standard Victorian residential conveyancing matters where O'Haire Legal is first instructed during the promotional period.
The $899 fee is our professional fee and is exclusive of GST and disbursements.
Disbursements may include property certificates, searches, PEXA fees, Land Use Victoria fees and other third-party charges applicable to your transaction.
Additional professional fees may apply where work falls outside a standard conveyancing transaction, including substantial contract negotiations, complex title or ownership issues, subdivisions, off-the-plan transactions, related-party transfers, adverse possession, nomination issues, GST or taxation advice, water entitlements, farming properties, commercial properties or other unusual or additional legal work.
Any additional professional fees will be discussed with you where reasonably practicable before that additional work is undertaken.
Disbursements and Other Costs
The $899 + GST introductory offer covers our professional legal fees for a standard residential conveyancing matter. Disbursements and third-party charges are payable in addition to our professional fees.
These costs vary depending on the property and transaction, but the following provides an indication of the usual costs.
Buying a Property
In a standard purchase, you can generally expect the following additional costs:

Registration of mortgage $129.20
Estimated total: approximately $575.50
The registration of mortgage fee will generally only apply where you are obtaining finance and a mortgage is being registered over the property.
Stamp duty and the Land Use Victoria transfer registration fee are not included in the above estimate and will depend on the purchase price and your individual circumstances.
Selling a Property
In a standard sale, you can generally expect the following additional costs:

Discharge of mortgage $129.20

The discharge of mortgage fee will generally only apply where there is an existing mortgage registered over the property that needs to be discharged.
